108 Morris History

Hall-Wynne & Company, originally founded on the third block of West Main Street, moved their funeral home and ambulance services downtown around 1910. The company constructed an L-shaped, two-story building at the corner of Morris and East Chapel Hill Street (pictured). They housed their offices, funeral parlors, storage and stables in the brick building for 16 years.
